We spent our childhood free-diving off reefs in Ft.Lauderdale Florida, always surrounded by water. Upon moving to art school, I missed the deep blues that surrounded me for miles on end. In an essence to recreate this atmosphere, Deep Waters was printed using monotype printmaking techniques on a gelatin block and a silk screen press. Two comprehensive techniques layered into one oceanic-inspired painting.
